The Emerging Media Lab at the University of Miami is designed to immerse students with the latest digital technologies and rapid prototyping equipment. The lab is part of UM’s Interactive Media department. The goal of the classroom is to promote making throughout the ideation, prototyping and development phase. The maker classroom aims to creates an inviting environment that inspires students to create rapid prototypes of games, AR, VR, and interactive installations.
