M.S. in Experience and Information Design

Program Overview

The University of Miami’s Master of Science in Experience and Information Design (MS in XiD) is a unique interdisciplinary program that prepares students to design and develop user experiences for products and services in today’s digital world. Our goal is to equip students with skills that will remain relevant and valuable in the future through a contemporary curriculum and immersing them in emerging technologies, ensuring they are well-prepared for the evolving job market. Students learn to apply research-driven design thinking to solve complex problems and create high-quality, user-centered experiences.

The mission of the MS in XiD program is to prepare students to be leaders in the field of experience and information design. The program’s goals are to:

  • Prepare students to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
