Interactive Media Annual Showcase

Exciting news! The Interactive Media Annual Showcase (IMAS) is back in person, featuring innovative student projects from the University of Miami. Explore silly robots, captivating VR, top-notch games, and mind-blowing augmented realities on April 30th at the Koenigsberg and Nadal Interactive Media Center. Open to Interactive Media course students, this exclusive event offers a chance to display your work, impress industry professionals, and win awards.

Some important dates and details:

Location: Koenigsberg and Nadal Interactive Media Center (IMC) at UM’s School of Communication
Only projects created in the Fall 23 -Spring 24 school year will be accepted.
Projects created in an Interactive Media (CIM) class or the XR Student Initiative will be accepted.
No tickets are needed. It’s free and open to the public.
Deadline for entry – April 27th at 11:59PM.
Setup time – April 30th, 12-3 PM.
Showcase Date – April 30th, 3-6 PM.

Projects can only be submitted to one category and must have been completed in the Fall 2023- Spring 2024 school year.

The categories are:

• Data Visualization
• Games
• Physical Computing
• Best UI/UX
• XR (VR, 360 Video, and Augmented Reality)
• Web and Mobile Experience
• Best Wearables
