The Interactive Media program at the University of Miami provides unique opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds to work with an elite group of faculty on cutting edge issues using state of the art technology. The program provides personalized training for each student, which is developed to suit their unique talents and interests.
Our program is committed to providing hands-on training based on sound research. An example of this is our Collaboration Innovation Laboratory (CoLab) where students work side by side with faculty and outside professionals on real world projects and experiments.
Our program is a truly collaborative environment where students are the primary liaisons between different areas of the School of Communication. We promote collaboration between research and creative faculty, which helps students develop the necessary skills to be successful in their career of choice.
We welcome domestic and international master degree candidates who share an affinity and talent for using design and technology to solve real world problems. Admission to the University of Miami’s M.F.A. in Interactive Media is based on a comprehensive process that evaluates every application on the basis of the individual’s achievements, creativity, and potential. We seek students who will both thrive in and contribute to the program and to the University of Miami community.
