The University of Miami Interactive Media program prepares students to research, prototype, design, and build products in business, social, academic, and cultural contexts.

Students are encouraged to leverage focus areas to produce and evaluate new interactive products.

User Experience

We design experiences to create products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users.

Game Design

We create games designed to solve problems and used by industries like defense, education, scientific exploration, health care, emergency management, city planning, engineering, and politics.

Data Visualization

We communicate facts and data by means of charts, graphs, maps, and diagrams to provide insights that help people understand information more easily and quickly.

Interactive Media graduates follow diverse career paths

Graduates set off ready for a variety of jobs. Current alums hold the following job titles product designers, design researchers, graphic designers, UX designers, UX researchers, front-end developers, CIO, web developers, and many others.
